- audio convert is a script that converts between WAV, Ogg, MP3, MPC, FLAC, APE, and WMA files. It has an easy-to-use interface that makes it possible to fill in the tags for a few formats and choose the quality of compression. The script was initially designed for the Nautilus file browser and can be easily installed into Nautilus by copying it to the nautilus-scripts directory. You can then right- click on files and choose "audio-convert" from the "scripts" menu. The script is also known to work on rox or directly from a shell.
なぜか今頃痴漢男を読み始めて夜が明けた。とりあえず最大の祭の前で寸止め。 しかしなげー。
displayが遅いので入れてみた。extrasにあるようでyumで簡単にインストールできる。

It is command line-driven and supports multiple images through slideshows, thumbnail browsing or multiple windows, and montages or index prints using TrueType fonts to display file information. Advanced features include fast dynamic zooming, progressive loading, loading via HTTP (with reload support for watching webcams), recursive file opening (slideshow of a directory hierarchy), and mouse wheel and keyboard control.
今日までずーっと「プラネテス」を「プラテネス」だと思ってた。 ぐぐるとそれなりに勘違いしてる人もちらほら。 てゆかちゃんと http://www.planet-es.net/が最初に出てくるあたり、googleさすがだ。 プラネットだもんなあ。
なぜわかったかというとぽすれんで借りようとして検索したらヒットしなかったからという情けない理由。
変というか全然文字が出てこない。アンダーラインとかリストの点だけが表示される。 困ったな。とりあえず本家から1.0.6のtarballを取ってきて、 適当に/usr/local/firefoxへインストール。 英語に戻ったのはよかった。まあ、このままでもいいな。
300MBも食ってるわりには2,3回しか使ったおぼえがないのでyum removeした。 必要になったらまた入れればいいし。
さてFirefox 1.0.6をtarballでインストールしたのはいいが、なんか不安定。 タブを閉じるとか別のウィンドウを閉じるとかするとたまにSEGVで落ちる。 SessionSaver のおかげで何事もなく復帰できるからまだましなんだけど。
userHTMLBindings.xmlでkey bindingを変更すると、 firefox自身をupdateした際にuserHTMLBindigs.xmlをまた自分でコピーしなきゃいけないのが面倒なので、 Keyconfig 一本でいくことにした。

FC4に上げるときにSELinuxをdisableにしたままだったことに今頃気づいた。 確かgrubのboot画面でもdisableにできるからbootできないという自体は避けられるとは思うんだけど、 ちょっと恐いので週末になってからEnforcingに戻そう。
昼間は台風一過で酷暑だったが、夜中はなぜか非常に涼しい。

久し振りにメールを送ったらmsmtpに怒られた。
msmtp: /home/eban/.msmtprc: must have no more than user read/write permissions
なるほど。chmod 0600 ~/.msmtprcしとこう。
起動を速くしたいなら、
- The First Step
- As you can see X gets started twice, which is a major time waster. So I decided to look into disabling that, and as I was googling I found an interesting feature disable by default in Fedora 4 called "early-login". This enables you to only start X once and allows a user to start logging in while other services are still starting in the background. This both reduces the actual boot up time and the user impression of boot time (Since they can log in earlier it seems to boot up faster even though it still booting up in the background). To enable, type the following:

Shiftキーを押しっ放しにしてたらピッとかビープ音がして警告が出た。

というわけでdeactiveに。しかしおれも何を考えて8秒も押していたんだか。 いや何も考えてないからずーっと押していたんだが。
WindowsにもShiftキーとかを5回連続で叩くとそんなモードに突入する機能があった。 そっちが先か。
なんだかんだで週末PCを落としてない。 SELinuxは結構うっとしいもんでもあるので、 ここは放置してearly-loginの設定だけしとく。 そういえば起動時にNTPサーバとのやりとりで5分ぐらい止まっちゃうことがあるので、 これが裏に回るだけでもましになるかな。
明日の起動時に確認。
